BluePearl’s Queens location is hiring an extraordinary Licensed Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician.A BluePearl Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician is someone who is self-motivated, a quick thinker, a team player and someone who is able to multi-task efficiently. Good communication skills and compassion is a must. Prefer to have at least two years experience in an Emergency and Specialty Veterinary Hospital. Will consider license eligible applicants.As a Licensed Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician you will:
Triage and obtain patient history
Comfortable with anesthesia
Venipuncture
Placing intravenous catheters as well as central lines
Perform radiographs
Inducing and monitoring anesthesia for advanced diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy and CT
Intensive treatment and patient care
Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients
