In this essential role, you will perform various administrative support tasks, including operating office equipment and completing general clerical work. The title of General Office Clerk is a short-term temporary role based in Forest Hills, New York.What you get to do every day
Deliver support on diverse employee projects as necessary
Supporting the duties of the front desk and reception
Provide accurate, friendly customer service without delay
Place and receive telephone calls
Data entry, word processing, filing, scanning, copying, and faxing
Meet customers in a friendly manner
Carry out correspondence according to prescribed style and format

2+ years of Office Clerk experience recommended
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Microsoft Office Word experience
Solid understanding of Answering Multi-Line Phone System
Expertise in Computer Data Entry

Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
Knowledge of Word and Excel
Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
