Belhurst Castle, a premier and famous destination in the Finger Lakes is accepting applications for a part-time Host/Hostess for Edgar’s Restaurant in the Castle, one of Belhurst’s two restaurants. Our restaurant seeks a friendly, upbeat Host/Hostess to be flexible and work variable shifts, including weekends. Main hours for this position are 10 am - 4 pm or 4 - 9 pm and well as availability on Saturdays.
The ideal candidate loves talking with guests and customers and must have excellent customer service skills. If you love the restaurant business, we’d like to hear from you!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greet customers
Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
Seat guests
Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
Learn food and beverage menu
Answer phones and schedule reservations with large parties
