Able2 has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employee Benefits Specialist on our progressive HR team. As the Employee Benefits Specialist you will be focusing on administering and coordinating Able2's benefits and leave administration. This position is Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p and the pay range for this vacancy is $17.75 to $19.65/hr. As a full time employee, you will accrue paid time off starting day one. Need insurance? Perform new employee benefit orientations and assist employees with their benefit enrollments. Follow up with employee to make sure their benefit enrollments are completed timely and accurately.

Works with outsourced FMLA/Leave administrator. Provides assistance and/or training to managers/supervisors and employees regarding leave processes, paperwork and coding in employee time and attendance.

Provides assistance with the annual open enrollment process - communications, system testing/set-up, open enrollment meetings, validation of benefit data and elections, etc.

Process and track accident reports, worker's compensation claims, and handles OSHA reporting. Acts as primary contact with workman's comp carrier to ensure all claims are processed timely and accurately.

Ensure all HR filing is kept up to date and personnel and medical files are in good order.

Responds to benefit inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefit enrollment, status changes and other general benefit inquiries.

Perform such other duties as assigned by the Director.

To be qualified for this position you must have:

Bachelor?s degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources or Associate?s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration and leave coordination required

Prior experience using ADP is preferred.

Thorough knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

Strong computer skills with a high degree of comfort working with Microsoft Office suite and HRIS system required. Prior experience using ADP is preferred.

Effective oral and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and set and meet goals and deadlines

Possess a valid driver?s license and have access to reliable transportation to be able to travel between Agency locations.
