Summary:
Production Team Members are responsible for the safe handling of Sandstone Springs products. Production Workers may work in a variety of roles within the plant to include loading raw materials into a machine, inspecting product and/or load product into wrapping machine as well as packing product.
Machine Operators are required to operate multiple processing and/or packaging machinery in a safe and productive manner, working as team and or leading production workers on the line.
All workers are responsible for maintaining our highest sanitation and quality standards, performing daily audits and completing daily production paperwork. All positions are in a flavor, product, some food manufacturing plant, starting rate of pay $15.00 per hour with shift differential for working 2nd and 3rd shift. After successful completion of the new hire training period/ GMP Certification will increase to full rate of position performed starting at $16.00 to $25.00.
Production Workers and Operators are required to be flexible to work all shifts, weekends and overtime as scheduled. Apply by emailing resume.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform work tasks such as loading raw materials into continuous-forming machine, inspecting, and / or load products into wrapping machine as well as packing and inspecting finished product.
Operating Processing or Packaging machinery when qualified as a machine operator.
Working Safely is a condition of employment.
Take responsibility for producing high quality product in each step of production
Maintain clean work area
Observe and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices
Qualifications:
Must possess a High School Diploma / GED
University/College is desirable and pay scaled accordingly
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to read and write English
Must be flexible to work any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as scheduled.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Previous food manufacturing or food handling experience is desirable
Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is desirable
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good hand-eye coordination
Focus on maintaining excellent quality
Ability to follow directions well
Ability to work independently within a team environment
Close attention to detail
Physical Demands:
Light to moderate physical effort required
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach and move around machinery
Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms
