ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Work closely withForeman in the de-icing and removal of snow from walks, driveways and parkinglots for various residential and commercial properties according to thespecified contracts.
Always represent thecompany’s best interest, maintain the highest level of integrity andprofessionalism.
Maintain a clean andsafe job site, while ensuring current landscape and property is not damaged inthe efforts of removing snow.
Maintain and care foryour personal or company provided equipment, tools and vehicles.
Proficiently andsafely use snow removal equipment such as shovels, plows, snow blowers, ,vehicles with plow blades, and other power and manually operated tools andequipment used to perform snow removal.
Safely andappropriately distribute de-icing solutions, including calcium chloride or rocksalt.
Perform highlyphysical work outdoors on a consistent basis in all weather conditions,specifically very cold, icy, snowy weather.
It is required allSnow Removal Drivers have cold weather gear and wear it appropriately toprotect themselves against adverse weather conditions.
Work as part of a teamand take direction.
Understand and meetcontract scheduled deadlines without sacrificing great customer service orexcellent quality.
Keep accuratetimesheet records, submitted for review and signoff by the required deadlines.
Perform other tasks orprojects as assigned/instructed by Foreman.
REQUIREMENTS
6 months minimumprevious snow removal experience.( will train)
Must have a validdriver’s license with clean DMVR and current auto insurance coverage. This isrequired whether you use your own vehicle/equipment or the Company’s.
Highly motivated,self-driven, flexible and detailed oriented.
Must be professionalin appearance and actions.
Great time managementskills; available for seasonal long hours, a clear schedule to work all hoursof the day, any day of the week and a strong work ethic. This position willrequire, although rare, potential holiday work.
This is a weatherdependent position with no guaranteed hours.
Punctual and dependablewith a can-do attitude.
Ability to workeffectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge and skilllevels.
· Reliable transportation to get to job sites asneeded.
· High School Graduate, GED
