Responsibilities Req ID: 58914 The Quality Improvement Advisor partners with Hospital and Medical Staff leadership to assure continuous quality improvement through utilization of Allina improvement resources and best of care practices. Education Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred Qualification/Skills 5-10 years progressively increasing quality improvement experience in health care organizations required. Experience and success with progressive quality roles required Proficient computer skills in electronic medical records, internet navigation and research, Microsoft Office (including, but not limited to, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access), and other database applications required Knowledge of medical staff quality, including physician peer review and hospital credentialing Mastery of quality, performance improvement principles, and regulatory standards Must be able to lead performance improvement projects Proficient analytical and data management skills, including statistical analysis Proven interdisciplinary leadership outcomes Proven facilitation skills and ability to manage multiple change initiatives Ability to lead large and/or complex projects including design, project management and documentation including final report preparation and presentation Ability to work with a variety of software and analytical tools Ability to teach, mentor and coach less experienced staff Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills Strong change management and negotiation/conflict management skills Strong customer service orientation Work Schedule Monday-Friday, flexible schedule Location/Community Information Located 35 minutes from Minneapolis or St. Cloud, the city of Buffalo lies at the intersection of two major highways and on two major recreational lakes, Buffalo Lake and Lake Pulaski.
