Responsible for product management support for a computer-assisted provider audit transformation program.
The Business Information Consultant Sr. serves as a product manager within the Product and Efficiency Team for the Program Integrity organization. This organization focuses on ensuring accurate financial claims processing, and reducing admin costs to bring the best value to the health care program. The Product and Efficiency team focuses on combining optimized processes with best in class technology to bring the most value to Program Integrity. This all results in a lower health care cost and higher value to the member.The Business Information Consultant works with all levels within the Program Integrity Business to provide product management services and coordinate with IT delivery teams and multiple vendors to implement the provider audit transformation program. The Bus Info Consultant Sr. is expected to analyze existing and potential workflows, processes, coordinate between stakeholders and teams. This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, a self-starter and who can communicate effectively and understands IT delivery, from a provider and payor perspective. Responsibilities:
· Responsible for requirements definition, process improvement opportunity identification, solution design and implementation.
· Authors or supports the creation of business cases, including problem definition, estimation, project justification and financial analysis.
· Provides analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership or external customers.
· Manages & prioritizes requirements; participates in and/or leads requirements elicitation and clarification sessions as needed.
o Analyzes and designs solutions to address varied and highly complex business needs.
o Writes Epics, user stories and personas. Develops process flows and mock-ups, creates documentation
o Assists in troubleshooting system issues
o Acts as the central contact with internal departments and external parties
o Works independently
o Draws up a plan to address issues/concerns
o Leads and/or supports software and testing; coordinates testing with end users
o Leads and/or supports product rollout, including training and release management
· Provides project status updates as required
· Works side by side with their managerRequirements:
· Requires a BS/BA degree in related field; minimum of 5 years’ experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving business needs.
· Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and proven ability to be an innovative problem solver.
· Skilled in PowerPoint and Excel, SQL and Jira a plus.
· Must have Agile experience. Proven experience in a SAFe environment is preferred.
· Highly articulate and able to present ideas in a compelling and thoughtful manner.
· Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
· Query development and data analysis skills strongly desired.
