for serving as an expert in data analysis, reporting and formulating
recommendations and providing guidance to other data analysts. Primary duties
may include, but are not limited to:
Create and maintain databases to track businessperformance.
Analyze data and summarizeperformance using summary statistical procedures.
Develop and analyze businessperformance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilizationdata) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies.
Create and publish periodicreports, makes necessary recommendations, and develop ad hoc reports asneeded.
May require taking business issueand devising best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or trackingdata that will translate business requirements into usable decisionsupport tools.
Make recommendations based upon data analysis.
Provide analytic consultation to other business areas,leadership or external customers.
Data analysis and reporting encompasses a much higherlevel of complexity.
