Job Summary:
A small USDA copacker and meat processing business in the Village of Greene is an entry level meat processing employee.
Responsibilities & duties:
-Trimming meat products.
-Custom cutting based on customer specs.
-Lifting of at least 60 lbs.
-Cleaning work space as you go.
-USDA Standards and Practices.
-General cleaning of work area after production day.
Qualifications & Skills:
-High school graduate or equivalent.
-General knowledge of meat cutting practices a plus.
-Ability to handle tasks independently after training.
Requirements:
-Must be able to pass an initial drug and background test.
-Must have verifiable references.
-MUST be trustworthy and reliable.
Basic Information:
-The daily schedule will vary depending on customer orders however it will typically be from 7 to 3:30. You must be free to work four days throughout the week and on Saturday with your days off being either M, W or F and Sunday.
-You will be subjected to a 90-day probationary period.
-Health insurance benefits buy-ins are available to purchase after your 90-day probationary period.
