Solar Design and Technical Support Specialist SunTegra, a leading provider of solar roofing products, is looking for experienced design and technical support professionals who are interested in changing how we power our homes and lives. As a Solar Design Specialist, you will be working as part of a team to create designs for custom solar PV systems. Multiple design tools will be utilized to confirm project details and develop detailed designs. A close working relationship with sale representatives will be required to design homeowner's ideal solar system. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be working with authorized installers to do trainings and answer tech support calls. Most tech support calls have simple answers. More complicated issues will be elevated to the technical manager. Most support will be rendered from the office, but site visits from time to time will also be part of the position's responsibility. A close working relationship with the technical manager and dealer's technical staff will be required.This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to grow with a company and likes to be challenged in a face pace environment both inside and out of the office.Qualifications and Skills + Analytical, critical thinking and acute attention to details + A customer service mind-set + Work well as part of a team + Excellent verbal and written skills + Self-motivated with the ability to manage numerous projects and meet deadlines with minimal oversite. + 2 years of drafting, electrical and or construction experience preferred + Familiarity with the National Electric Code is ideal + Knowledge of building codes preferred + Associates Degree in an engineering related field preferred + NABCEP a plus Responsibilities + Provide preliminary solar PV systems designs to SunTegra dealers prior to dealer sales appointments using Auorora solar design software. + Use CAD and or Eagleview to help design and quote traditional roofing needs to support our solar sales. + Efficiently track and move prospective customers through the pipeline and track workflow via CRM + Answer dealer technical support calls and provide direct assistance or elevate issue to supervisor + Provide basic technical training to dealers' technical representatives + Report to supervisor every day.Qualified Candidates are encouraged to e-mail their resume for immediate consideration.Compensation range estimated at $15 to $20 per hr., depending on level of experience.Part-time work arrangements are an option to start as a transition to fulltime employment within 3 to 6 months.About SunTegraSunTegra designs, manufactures and sells high quality, innovative solar roof systems.
