IntroductionAs an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn the job role of Senior Experience/Commerce Multi-Platform Architect, candidate will be responsible for Ecommerce solution design, build, deployment and post production support of Enterprise Order Management system for client Tiffany and Company. Below given are main job responsibilities -1) Candidate will be responsible to work with business and IT teams to help client Tiffany & Company finalize the business requirements for redesigning and building Enterprise Order Management (EOM) system. Candidate will be creating architectural and design work products using IBM Rational Software Architect Designer accordingly to capture high and low level design documents as per Tiffany's IT model and in adherence with IBM global delivery process.2) Candidate will be responsible for assessment, creation of solution design and build of required components for migration of legacy web service based eCommerce Product Management application to microservice based architectures using Docker and Containers Orchestration in line with Tiffany’s cloud movement strategy and roadmap.3) Candidate will be working with architects from other application domains in Tiffany to establish eCommerce Order Management application Integration architecture, communication patterns to integrate IBM Sterling Order management system with Ecommerce Front end Order capture application, Ware House Management System, SAP Services, JDE applications within Tiffany’s eCommerce ecosystem as per Tiffany’s IT Operational model.4) Candidate will be responsible to create solution design as required to redesign client’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with cognitive capabilities using IBM Watson based products to meet client’s global customer data capture, storage and profiling requirement.5) Candidate will be responsible to oversee development team’s day to day work, provide technical guidance to team in implementation of the Order capture application changes and as well responsible for application code review to ensure application changes are as per defined requirement and code quality standards are as per Tiffany’s IT policies and guidelines. Candidate will also provide suggestions to optimize code to align code with industry standards and client best practices throughout the application development life cycle.6) Candidate will be responsible for determining environment strategy and work with client IT for detail infrastructure capacity planning as necessary for the project execution and will create necessary infrastructure build documents for various phases of project delivery, including development, integration testing, user acceptance testing and Production rollout phases.7) Candidate will be responsible to support QA/UAT phases of the project by working closely with client QA and business teams to provide required fixes for bugs/issues that are reported as part of QA/UAT phases.
