IntroductionAt IBM, our Project Managers excel by leading and coordinating a project team’s overall performance, scope, cost, and deliverables. Our clients rely on timely and efficient status reports, and as Project Manager, you will drive the charge with project direction, metric definition, and performance management. If you are ready to help our clients and project teams succeed, we would love to meet you!Your Role and Responsibilities Identify common systems in OSS Local/National Service fulfillment area and work on Integration functionality. Meet with CenturyLink Business and Process stakeholders to identify impacts to OSS LSF and NSF applications due to Program Increment (PI) Change Requests and come up with solutions. Organize Agile Program meetings to review/discuss the overall progress, update roadmap, review issues, risks & their mitigation plan, deployment planning etc Use IBM OnDemand Process Asset Library (OPAL) quality processes for ensuring software quality assurance is met. Perform Changes due to software End of Service Life to upgrade to newer technology. Work with Leadership team to prepare proposals and Statements of Work for all new work. Use the CenturyLink proprietary Relative Information Security Classification (RISC) tool to identify the locations where the work can be performed. For the work that is approved to be worked offshore based on the RISC tool work with offshore manager to identify the resources with relevant skills, experience and domain knowledge. Work with Scrum Master, Onshore and offshore delivery team to arrive at the task line items, delivery milestones and task ownership for backlog user stories. Participate in daily scrum calls to clarify any queries, monitor progress and identify any risks and Issues. Provide weekly status report to IBM delivery project executive, who in turn consolidates and shares the status with CenturyLink executives. Use IBM percolator tool to perform resource capacity planning for application development and Application maintenance projects, which provides input to IBM leadership for forecasting revenues. Weekly meeting with CenturyLink Business team to address any urgent issues in Local/National Service fulfillment area. Use CenturyLink SharePoint site for forecasting project wise planning of resource capacity utilized. Drive value add for client, innovation / automation to save on cost and pursue better internal / legal compliance.
