JOINOUR TEAM Home Delivery Independent Contract Carriers We are currentlyseeking highly motivated and professional Non-CDL Independent Contract Carriers(ICCs) to join our growing furniture home delivery operations in Albany NY Market.

JobType: Contract

JobStatus: Full Time / 6:00am start time / Weekends

Industry: Transportation/ Furniture Delivery & Assembly

BusinessRequirements:

2-person delivery team (qualified driver and helper)

Own, lease, rent or access to a 26' straight truck / Rent our trucks

ICC must provide Certificate of Insurance for auto and generalliability, cargo and workers' compensation insurance Strong customer serviceand communication skills

Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with 26 ft truck(or larger)

Pass criminal background check, drug test, and physical Experienceand Education

High school graduate or equivalent

Schedule availability (Weekends & Mondays)

Work and act safely at all times.

Enhance the customer's shopping experience.

Ability to multitask in a customer focused, fast pacedenvironment.

Consistently interact with our customers in a courteous andprofessional manner.

Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.

Learn and develop skills to assemble furniture in a customer'shome.

Ability to inspect, wrap, pack and load furniture.

Physical Requirements:

Have the ability to consistently lift/move furniture, beddingand accessories in excess of 100lbs.

Continuously lift, lower, push, pull all sizes of furniture upto and in excess of 100 lbs.

Deliver furniture to in a variety of outdoor weather conditions.
