Atlantic British Ltd. is the largest independent distributor of parts and
accessories for Land Rover vehicles in North America since 1970. We're
a direct marketing company; offering over 11,000 products for sale via Ecommerce
and print catalogs to retail and wholesale customers in the US and Canada. We
operate office and warehouse facilities in Clifton Park, New York and Simi Valley,
California.
We need a dependable and detail-oriented professional for our Clifton Park,
NY location who is seeking long-term employment with a fast growing automotive
Ecommerce and mail order company.
What You'll Do:
You will help actively manage the company inventory while working closely
with Sales and Product Management, including:
Generate and place purchase orders based on evaluation of sales and inventory
data
Monitor supplier shipping delivery times and performance
Assist with inventory cost verification and receiving
Help manage product backorders as well as alternative sources for
product
Liaise with company suppliers to organize credits on warranty products
or short ships
Work closely with the sales department to assist in price quoting
special order items for customers
Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience:
3 years Purchasing experience with automotive parts background
preferred
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Time management skills and ability to multi-task
Proficient in Excel & Word
