Personal Care Assistant (Consumer Direct)(Part-time) to care for a middle aged wheelchair bound woman located in Guilderland.
Hours needed are Sundays 10:30pm-8:15am(overnight); Thursdays 10:30pm-8:15am(overnight);
Mondays 7:00pm-11:00pm; Wednesdays 7:00pm-11:00pm; Fridays 5:00pm-11:00pm.
Assistant will be required to take patient outside in warm weather or exercise/stretch indoors in cold weather, prepare dinner, do light housework, get patient ready for and into bed in the evening, get patient out of bed in the morning and assist with all tasks as requested.
Additional hours may be available to fill in when other assistants are out for any reason.
GREAT EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITY FOR PT, OT and NURSING STUDENTS! Training will be provided. Reliable transportation is necessary. Busses do not run to this neighborhood during these hours.
