The Maker Hotel, located in the vibrant community of Hudson, NY, just two hours north of NYC, is seeking to expand its team ahead of the opening of our Hotel.

The Maker Hotel project is comprised of our highly curated and acclaimed destination Restaurant, Lounge and Café, and forthcoming Hotel. Our project is a celebration of art and design from artisans and makers all over the world, grounded in outstanding hospitality experiences.

We are seeking passionate, self-starting, and curious individuals excited by the challenge of providing the highest quality service within a new business, contributing positively to our company culture, and providing intimate daily experiences for our guests. PT/FT shifts available.

RESPONSIBILITIES + REQUIREMENTS

-Treats guests and team members with courtesy and respect

-Goes above and beyond to provide the highest-quality hospitality experiences

-Ability to prepare of syrups, infusions, tinctures and other house specialty needs

-Passion for food, hospitality, the arts, and guest experience.

-Positively responds to direction and actively seeks feedback from team members,

supervisors, managers and guests

-The ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods at a time

-Maintain the cleanliness, organization and efficiency of dining areas

-Collaborative by nature, team oriented

-Open availability inclusive of weekends and holidays

EXPERIENCE

-Minimum of two years of front of house restaurant experience. Fine dining experience is a plus.

-Strong base knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beer

-Minimum of one year bartending experience

-Competitive hourly, based on experience, plus tip
