Position Information:This position is for a resource to perform data migration duties. The individual will be responsible for all stages of data migration including: reviewing business requirements documents, analyzing and profiling source data, mapping source data to target database, managing data fallout, designing logical and physical data models and interacting with business users to understand existing data and verify business rules.

Position Description:
  • Perform all stages of data migration from data analysis to pre go-live validations, user acceptance testing, user sign-off, cut-over planning and post go-live validations.
  • Interact with legacy business users to understand business process flow, business logics and to assess major data objects, data volume for data migration.
  • Develop logical and physical data model for OLTP system.
  • Design, develop and maintain T-SQL data migration programs.
  • Develop data quality reports for the business to identify and drive data cleansing and remediation efforts.
  • Writing T-SQL for data validation and post conversion reports.
  • Develop complex queries using T-SQL.
  • Document data extraction, mapping, cleansing and migration processes.

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Expert Level with 7 + years of experience.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 7 Years experience designing and developing data migration programs.
  • Years experience developing data migration audit, reconciliation and exception reports.
  • Years experience coding T-SQL procedures.
  • 7 Years experience in complex SQL development.
  • 7 Years experience in internal and external stakeholder communications and outreach, including the development of presentations and other materials
