Part Time Employment// Looking for intelligent and hard working tree climbers for tree service company in Santa Fe, NM
US: With roots in wildland fire, were a small business with room to grow (pardon the pun). We provide tree pruning and trimming, hazard tree work and full removals, pest identification, arborist support, and selective soil injections. Were a tree climbing company. We do not have bucket trucks or lifts, but do use cranes on occasion.
YOU: Must be safe and reliable. You must be physically able to handle up to ten hours a day of manual labor. Your schedule is flexible. Youre willing to take on new skills. Climbers preferred, but skills not required for work. And lastly, youre friendly. We work 100+ ft from the ground in high stress situations, level-headedness is a must.
We are currently looking for someone to work 2-3 days a week throughout the year. This is a part time job for now with possibilities of significant growth. We are looking for tree climbers who value our profession, are committed to keeping each other safe and want to have fun at work. You must understand and have advanced-rigging knowledge and techniques. Know and understand ISA/ANSI pruning standards. A certified arborist is a plus and equals more pay. Must have valid drivers licence
5+ years experience a plus
TCIA certifications a plus
ISA Certified Arborist preferred
Must be willing and able to work in all outdoor weather conditions all year round.
Work includes heavy lifting, use of sharp tools, safe use of chainsaws, tying knots, raking, sweeping, taking directions, and asking questions.
