Our client needs a super organized and friendly Customer Service Rep for a local municipal utility office. You will be responsible for greeting clients, taking and recording payments, phone calls, handle tasks and assignments with a sense of urgency, reliability and accuracy. This included maintaining communication with customer follow up, requests and inquiries.
Responsibilities
Greet and serve customers in a positive manner with the main objective to promote helpfulness, friendliness and professionalism.
Payment Handling: Posting & balancing customer mailed, dropped off, or walk-in payments
Opening and closing work orders
Data entry work & updating spreadsheets
Use billing software to enter information and maintain customer service account records
Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, faxing and mail
Prepare weekly deposit reports
Prepare daily payment reports
Desired Profile
Able to follow guidelines, help aids, and checklists to complete tasks and assignments with accuracy
Strong understanding of documentation
Ability to manage manual process with discipline and reliability
Able to be flexible with office activities and interruptions
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel) and Adobe Reader
2 Years of office clerical experience
Possess a valid drivers license.

Compensation
$15 per hour / Temp Assignment Thru August 1, 2019
