Award winning interior design firm seeks outstanding, organized and talented Project Coordinator to support our design team. You must be very organized, computer proficient, and a team/task oriented person to succeed in this position. This is an amazing opportunity to learn the interior design business. You will be assisting the design team with their projects and operations manager with related tasks associated with running the design studio. Any background or experience with project management is highly desirable. During the current social distancing environment, some work can be done from home, with office meetings and work days in our studio as needed. Responsibilities:
Research products, fabrics, furniture and fixtures.
Create and maintain project binders - electronically and hard file
Generate work orders for vendors
Generate accurate and timely purchase orders for suppliers
Help keep the studio and design spaces organized and tidy
File, organize and perform general office duties
Assist with sample/reference library organizationPosition Requirements:
Very strong administrative skills, including high proficiency in MS Office and Google Apps
Professional and polished presentation for interaction with showroom clients/guests
Good writing and grammar skills for all communications; email, phone, in-person.
Extremely detail oriented and ok with proofing and double checking all work product
Thoughtful and takes initiative when needed
Ability to follow directions and able to uphold all company processes and procedures
Comfortable with asking clarifying questions if something is not clear
Efficient at office administration operations
Must be professional and reliable with time, deadlines and commitments
Willing to take skill assessments
Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
Able to provide professional references

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
