The Social Media Coordinator will assist the CCA Team in the continued expansion of the Center for Contemporary Arts (CCA) as a leading cultural institution in Northern New Mexico with local and national impact.
Tasks would include:
· Generate original Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter posts for review
· Create and maintain schedules for posting approved content
· Include additional social media platforms as required/approved
· Research best practices and benchmarks for social media impact and analytics
· Generate and provide analytical content from social media platforms as requested
· Assist with monthly IG Live poetry events
· Track comments and respond as appropriate
· Alert management to any issues of concern in a timely fashion so items can be addressed
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience/proven success in marketing, journalism, social networking, or other pertinent subject matter
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Excellent written and spoken Spanish is a plus
· Have personal Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts, and proficiency managing them
· Own a smartphone
· Basic graphic design skills or interest in learning (What programs do you know/have?)
· Comfort working in Word and/or Google Docs
· Comfort working in Excel is a plus
· Strong communication skills
· Innate curiosity and a desire to learn
· Sensitivity and awareness around delicate issues
· Reliable and accountable
This position is currently 8 hours per week
Rate of pay is $16 per hour
This work can be done remotely
