Currently seeking an Janitorial / Kennel Tech for a pet boarding and daycare facility. This job involves daily janitorial (cleaning facility and grounds inside and out), doing laundry, maintenance of equipment, care-taking of pets and supervising of dogs in daycare. It requires attention to detail and knowledge of dog behavior and communication. Bathing dogs for groomer May also be required.
Part-time position leading to full time. Hours are approximately 7:00 am - 4:00 pm but vary with demand. Must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays. Experience with dogs essential. Must be gentle.
Your daily tasks include:
Daily Cleaning of dog and cat kennels, yards and outdoor runs.
General cleaning of the entire facility inside and out, (mopping, cleaning yards, kennels and runs, trash removal, pressure washing yards, vacuuming, doing laundry, dishes, loading dishwasher, etc).
Feeding and administering medication to dogs and cats, supplying FRESH water daily. Providing clean bedding as needed.
Supervising Groups of dogs while they're outside playing. Watching dogs' body language to prevent any potential problems.
Miscellaneous maintenance duties.
