Do you want to work in a beautiful kitchen at one of Santa Fe's coolest tech companies? New Mexicos highest-funded tech startup is looking for a Prep Cook! Youll assist our Executive Chef & Cooks in preparation and cooking of a wide variety of cold and hot foods for executives, employees, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation of hot and cold entrees, salads, appetizers, and deli items for employee meal service, in-office catered events, tray line and pantry.
Prepare foods for cooks such as washing and peeling fruits and vegetables, cutting, chopping and similar duties.
Assist in buffet and catering service setup, replenishing and tear-down.
Operate equipment including blenders, mixers, food processors, oven, steamers, grill, deep fat fryer and others following proper safety guidelines.
Maintain sanitation and safety standards at all times in work areas and during food handling, production, and storage (including food labeling) in accordance with sanitation and safety regulations.
Check food temperatures prior to food being served and during the course of service.
Wash, rinse and sanitize all dishes after meal service has concluded.
Requirements
Ability to work 2-3 afternoons per week, from 9:30am - 2:30pm.
3+ years of experience as a prep cook or sous chef.
Must be flexible.
