Bookkeeper/Business Administator

Permanent part-time – up to 22 hrs/wk

Responsible for managing the business & financial affairs for Unity Santa Fe, working with ministry leadership & congregants to achieve ministry mission. Primary duties and responsibilities include ministry accounting processes including A/R, A/P, Payroll, taxes, and budgeting as well as facilities and office operations. The latter includes personnel administration, record keeping, and equipment maintenance oversight.

Excellent computer skills required, including MSOffice proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Publisher.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounting. Experience with fund accounting is preferred. PowerChurch software or other church software experience is a plus.

Must have the ability to work independently, multi-task, be creative, innovative, and flexible, have a “can-do” problem solving spirit, work well with others, and effectively communicate orally and in writing,
