Job Description/Responsibilities/Typical Work Day/Project Description:
Responsible for gathering, documenting, inventorying, ensuring they are in working order, and storing all parts, spares, consumables, and tools in all locations in the south.
Responsible for getting all equipment and parts associated with the equipment it will be used in or used to replace in SAP.
Responsible for getting all critical spares identified for the South and working with maintenance and supply chain to determine if they will be stored in the South.
Responsible for gathering and inventorying all spares that come over from projects on new assets.
Responsible for gathering and maintaining all data and records relative to shipping & receiving activities.
Provide customer service to operations, maintenance and engineering stakeholders.
Collect all documentation for inbound/outbound freight and ensure all documents, including receiving paperwork, are timely entered into SAP and filed appropriately upon completion as required.
Schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with site needs.
Can be on call in case of getting called out for hot repairable spare parts when needed.
Follow all Material Management processes and procedures.
Assist in annual inventory and prepare warehouse as needed.
Maintain the warehouse by organizing and cleaning as needed.
Escalate any safety or operational issues to Supervisor as directed.
Assist in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse and/or workplace.
Maintain a professional and positive attitude with customers and stakeholders.
Perform additional duties as directed.
Will work with HM (Greg Bussing) and SMEs at existing 5 warehouses/buildings and set up stock items New Item Creation
o SME to advise on technical data for part set up size, metallurgy, etc
o Work with Procurement on setting up info records for NI Creation SME to provide Min/Max, Buyer will work with vendor on part price, lead time, etc
Organize these areas in each warehouse and set up part bins with labels
Deliver parts to remote locations when needed
Shipping and receiving of parts
Run inventory reports and validate counts in these 5 warehouses monthly and reconcile if needed
Manage all the project inventory by matching up POs with part #s, quantities, and reaching out to Project Managers, Planners on what is on hand or getting disposition (surplus, send back to vendor, scrap, etc¦), plus cleaning these areas up! These are project materials and are not stocked items generally.
Working with HM (Greg Bussing) and Procurement on setting VMI areas in each of these WHs lockers and/or vending machines.
Any other tasks that may be needed
Required/Must Have Skills & Years of Experience:
1. Minimum of 5 years experience in Warehousing or Inventory Control
2. Fork Truck Certification Required
3. General knowledge of basic math, reading, accounting, & computers
4. ERP System experience would like to be required, but HM is willing to look at candidates if they do not have ERP System experience
Preferred Skills:
1. SAP Experience definitely a plus
2. ERP would really like to see ERP System experience.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
