Job Summary: Successfully complete product deliveries and supervision of small projects consisting of small to mid sized deliveries of chairs, casegoods, and freestanding furniture for one to ten workstations, 1-25 Offices, and up to 100 chairs. Effectively communicate project status and needs with clients, job site personnel, and Commercial Services management. Successfully complete all paperwork associated with completing deliveries and projects and forward them to administration. Enforce and maintain Commercial Services standards for job site quality and appearance standards for all team members assigned to crew.Key Responsibilities:Delivers or receives and installs product per manufacturer procedures by plans and drawings with utmost regard to quality of installation and damages.Effectively work with different levels of installers to form a team and provide training and proper direction to ensure a quality installation per plans and prints.Plan, direct, and supervise a crew of up to six installers.Knows and enforces Commercial Services standards of conduct with other crew members, through disciplinary action if necessary.Effectively communicate with clients, co-workers, and operations department.Properly complete all paperwork associated with projects or deliveries and forward to administration in a timely manner. Completed paperwork includes, but is not limited to,Project sign-offs, Delivery Tickets, Receiving Paperwork, Change Orders, Disciplinary ActionForms, and Punch List Forms. This also includes taking accurate and relevant project photos.Reports to management a progress update at the end of the shift daily during every project on the following items: status of crew, project progress, issues related to the project, and deliveries assigned to the project.Maintains an accurate inventory of all assigned equipment and tracks all equipment issued for projects and deliveries on assigned project. Secures all equipment at the end of each day.Utilize daily timesheets ensuring they are accurate, complete, and signed, and forward them to administration.Responsible for accurately accounting for cash or other funds provided by management relating to project expenses and insures receipts and other related paperwork is forwarded tomanagement.Understands instructions from management and effectively communicates with management and other team members.Assumes other installation positions when not assigned as supervisor.Complete any reasonable task as assigned by Supervisor or Management.Accountabilities:Must meet budgetary labor guidelines as allocated by management. Should have "zero" installation punch at end of job. All necessary paperwork and pictures will be complete, accurate, and forwarded to office by 8 A.M. on the next business day. Always projects a positive image of Commercial Services through appearance standards and personal actions to clients and other crew members.Qualification Standards:Completion of previous installer level requirements and successful completion of pre- supervisor testing and training program or previous experience in a related field.Schedule availability must be flexible for any time including early morning, late night, weekends, and overnight travel.Must have and maintain valid drivers license and good driving record.Must have and maintain own transportation.Reads and understands maps and driving directions.Ability to read and write the English language.Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.Stands, bends, stoops, kneels, and reaches above head during entire shift.Lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and moves up to 50 pounds constantly throughout the day.Works in and during all weather including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow.Possess and properly utilize tools according to Commercial Services Tool List.Accurately read and interpret punch lists and associated prints, and all installation plans and drawings.Proper use of all tool types to perform mid-range and high-range procedures to perform all levels of installation.Must have leadership skills and know Commercial services standards.Must be able to train new employees.Must be able to complete every aspect of the installation process, including but not limited to:o Unload & stageo Floor layouto Wall mountso ReconfiguresCreate appropriate solutions to unexpected problems, sometimes without direction.Ability to work independently.Works under pressure in stressful situations.
