About the Position

A. Description: Quality Assurance Manager

Organizational Relationship: Reports to Plant Manager

Position reports to: Plant Manager

 Position reporting to this position: Sanitation staff, QA Technician, QC Supervisor

B. Summary of Functions/Job Purpose: Ensure that the product meets the requirements of quality and safety during

C. Duties:

 Ensures compliance during the requirements for quality and safety of raw materials, materials and

ingredients

 Ensures the smooth operation of System Safety Management

 Ensures that all finished products meet the specifications provided by the company and customers

 Maintains current requirements of raw materials and finished products

 Define the inspection criteria that are applied during the production process

 Define the sampling methods applied to process

 Maintains QA personnel trained in the functions it plays

 Keeps information current regulations that apply to the company.

 Define the parameters for acceptance or rejection of the product

 As a formal channel of communication with all customers in order to provide quick solutions to conflicts in

quality and safety.

 Visit and suggest improvements in the performance of external stores of the company.

quality and safety suppliers.

 Creating, generating and approving documents and lab-quality (update)

 Review and update customer SPECS

 Ensures that the product meets the standards of quality and safety set

 Responsible for directing audits applied by customers and other stakeholders externally

 Participates in the preparation and updating of the quality processes

 Manage and participate in practical exercises such as Recall Plans and Crises Managemetn

 Analyzes and participates in the investigation of customer complaints in conjunction with the Equipment

Safety

 Assessment and supplier audits and warehouses related to product quality

 Check compliance with customer specifications

 Monitors the available resources are used optimally

 Apply the guidelines of the System Safety Management

 Apply the operating policies of the organization

 Conducts follow-up of equipment calibration program that impact product quality

 Oversees defense policy Product

 Monitors compliance programs GMPS and FSQM .

 Suggest making decisions regarding a machined externally and / or purchased, having internal and external

results of laboratory product.

 Develop and implement and maintain Standard operating procedures across all levels.

 Annual Employee Reviews

 Ensure appropriate implementations of FSQM

 Cleaning processing areas to ensure food safety

 Cleaning areas of non-processing

 Monitoring ESM shell (halves, cut pieces, natural pieces)

 You must ensure internal specifications are met and customers

 Monitoring and maintenance of Product Quality Control - Microbiological

 Verifying the accuracy of the laboratory results

 You must ensure all internal and customer specifications are met

 You must ensure the observance of legality all items

 Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

 To liaise with the external contractor (s).

 Respond to pests out

 PCA reports that includes all necessary staff meetings

 Analysis of Residual Pesticides

 Adherence to regulations and local guidelines, state and federal

 Requests USDA Grade (usually in foreign orders, as needed)

 Monthly inspection of the plant and as needed - all areas, items (equipment, tools, facilities, etc.)

 Generate COAs

 Develop, maintain and enforce policies and procedures of the plant (GMP and HACCP)

 Responsible for monitoring and supervising company policies safety and food quality.

E. Educations and Experience: 3 years in similar position, performing functions such as Quality Assurance Manager in the

food sector industries, computer management, sanitation HACCP, Microbiology, application audits, SQF Experience, Environmental experience, GMP, Supplier Audits, Safety Management Systems, Bilingual English/Spanish
