Because of our continued success and growth, Thompson Satellite & Security is expanding our sales team. We have an amazing opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to market our products and services to residential and Commercial customers.

You will act as a territory manager and take ownership in acquiring new leads through networking, warm leads, and events. You will become a Smart Home Pro and match customers’ needs with an outstanding line up of industry leading products. Helping you progress and develop skills, all the while generating sales, is what we are all about. You will gain referral partners, participate in community events, and act as a brand ambassador for Thompson Satellite & Security.

Required Skills and Experience

Execute company objectives to hit sales targets

Evaluate customers’ needs and build a productive, long lasting relationship

Must be honest and empathetic to the needs of customers

Must work well in a competitive team environment

Maintain perseverance through ups and downs of the sales cycle

Previous industry experience (B2C sales) is beneficial but not required

Experience interacting with customers in a competitive sales environment is beneficial but not required

Ability to set specific goals and objectives - maintaining a teachable demeanor

Passion for training and learning; become the expert on the developing Smart Home Industry

Self motivated and able to overcome rejection
