Job Type: Security Controller
Locations: Albuquerque, NM.
Security Clearance Required: Currently hold DOE Q or qualified to obtain
Base Pay: 19.67/hr
Qualifications/Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1-3 years high-level security experience
Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
Must currently have a valid guard card/license, as required in New Mexico
As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
Able to:
o Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
o Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
o Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
o Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
Ability to pass civil, criminal, and employment background checks
Ability to pass initial, random, and periodic drug screen tests
Reliable transportation

Description:
Santa Fe Protective Services, Inc. is seeking talent to join the Security Service Team in the area of unarmed security officer: Position will be required to pass a background and physical exam and must be a U.S. Citizen. Personnel providing security services must be fully compliant and licensed with all applicable state and local qualifications and licensing requirements within 90 days of contract award. Personnel must possess a minimum of a Secret or DOE L clearance at the time of application.
