McCarthy Holthus, LLP, an AV rated law firm practicing Mortgage and Commercial Banking law as well as creditors rights in multiple states, including courts throughout the State of New Mexico, is currently looking for an experienced civil Litigation Associate Attorney for the New Mexico office located in Albuquerque.
Description of Duties Include:
- Motion practice, discovery and depositions, meditations and some trials
-Manage caseload, including meeting court and client deadlines
-Communicating with clients and staff regarding strategy and litigation budget
Experience and Skills:
- 3 to 7 years civil litigation experience, with experience in civil law, real estate, commercial transactions, and/or foreclosure preferred
-Hourly billing experience
-Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
-Licensed to practice law in the State of New Mexico, including Federal Court
-Member in good standing with the New Mexico Bar Association
-Excellent legal research and courtroom advocacy skills
-Superior organization and time management skills
The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm.
