Looking for an enthusiastic "beer"tender to provide excellent guest experience at small, historic brewery and event center in Corrales, NM. PART TIME
Job duties:
· Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for patrons
· Interacting with customers, taking drink orders, and serving drinks
· Assessing customer’s needs and preferences and making drink recommendations accordingly
· Pouring beer, wine and making 2 specialty drinks
· Checking customers’ ID and confirming they meet legal drinking age requirements
· Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
· Handling small monetary transactions on a POS system (cash and card)
· Changing out empty kegs and moving kegs from cooler to the bar (note: we use 6 gallon kegs w/ the assistance of a dolly)
· Light cleaning duties (ie: wiping off counters, restocking bathrooms with toilet paper and paper goods, emptying trash, sweeping floors, mopping etc…)
Requirements:
· Alcohol server’s license (or ability to obtain it before first day of work)
· Current resume and proven work experience in a bar, the hospitality industry, restaurant setting or similar is a plus but not required
· Computer literacy
· Positive attitude is key and excellent communication skills
· A gracious, friendly, patient, reliable and helpful attitude towards guests
· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
· Personable, Professional and Outgoing
· Knowledge of beer and wine a plus with a desire to learn more, hospitality experience a plus
· Ability to keep bar area clean, organized, and stocked

-Clean record and ability to pass a background check and drug test
· Availability on Thurs- Monday from 2-10pm (additional special event hours possible) and subject to change due to COVID restrictions and colder temperature months
· Hourly pay based on experience + tip sharing
