Assist and support the creation of robust economic and financial analytical models to tackle complex client issues to help minimize risk, quantify liability, damage exposure, negotiate contracts, and support investment and pricing strategies

Assist in articulating alternative policy solutions relating to government and private sector business issues

Support development and documentation of research providing critical insight and expert testimony in legal and regulatory proceedings

Assist in providing client-facing services, including analytical development supporting new and expanding client consulting opportunities

Support engagement team collaboration with attorneys to analyze litigation discovery data, and participate in execution of sampling techniques to develop statistically reliable results for pre-class certification phases, class decertification phases and large multidistrict litigation cases

Participate in building relationships with existing clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities

Participate in the development of reports, graphics and presentation of data analyses, including design and testing of analytical methods

Provide both leadership and supervision to Staff

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Economics preferred

Master’s Degree in Economics preferred

Minimum of 2 years related work experience; economic consulting experience preferred

Experience with applied data analytics skills, including manipulation and analysis of large data bases and use of diverse analytical data tools (e.g., SAS, R, Stata Python, ArcGIS, SQL, IMPLAN, etc.)

Proven experience with forecasting, analyses, and data modeling methods required; exposure to applied regional economic modeling, including input-output tools preferred

Experience in managing multiple assigned analytical tasks simultaneously and learning new analytical methods quickly

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated capability to participate in implementing analyses and effectively express results obtained to lay audiences (e.g., government agencies, attorneys, judges, corporate managers, etc.)

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Must be willing and able to travel to client locations up to 20%
