This long-term temporary-to-full-time Full Charge Bookkeeper position is located in Albuquerque, NM. In this position, you will be responsible for all general accounting and bookkeeping functions, including the preparation of financial statements, as well as establishing and maintaining the organization's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives.Your responsibilities Retaining historical records through the accurate filing of documents Tracking fixed assets to produce depreciation schedules Overseeing work of accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers Assembling the trial balance and financial statements, including balance sheet and income and cash flow statements Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including collections Maintaining knowledge of current federal, state, and local legal requirements, ensuring adherence to them, filing reports, and communicating with management on needed actions Ensuring monthly, quarterly and year end close happens accurately and on time Handling reconciliations for bank and general ledgers, and processing payroll 3+ years of experience in the bookkeeping field Prior experience with QuickBooks Online Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate Proficient in accrual and cash basis of accounting Law Firm experience preferred Solid understanding of QuickBooks Online Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments Excellent organizational and multitasking skills High school diploma or comparable diploma with an AA degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred Please send your resume to [email protected] RequirementsQuickbooks OnlineAccountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
