Financial Officer for Non-Profit Medical Clinic - Casa de Salud (Albuquerque South Valley)

New Mexico, Albuquerque 00000 Albuquerque USA

Vacancy caducado!

Our work at Casa de Salud is unique. Every day, we deliver care that is rooted in dignity, trust, creativity, cultural humility, and mutual respect. We see healthcare from a lens that understands the histories of inequalities, oppressions, and structural forces that affect our community. We also see the strengths of our community members, as well as the cultural richness that exists around us. It is with this historical analysis and appreciation for the power within our community that we build towards collective wellness and liberation.

Casa de Salud was founded in 2004 to provide high quality medical services to people with no or limited health insurance as well as a place for primary care clinicians and integrative healers to enjoy the practice of medicine. We embrace a holistic approach using a wide range of conventional, natural and traditional medicines to best address mind/body/soul medicine. Our clinicians include Family Physicians, a part-time gynecologist, NPs, PAs, a social worker, as well as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, a Reiki master, a curandera, and two massage therapists. Case management and health coaching are available to patients.

Casa de Salud is rooted in community, has relationships with many direct service and advocacy organizations in the county and beyond, and provides a culturally humble and anti-racist environment for staff, apprentices, and patients. The clinic is in a time of rebirth and growth, with the ability to creatively implement new programs and ideas without the bureaucracy of conventional healthcare settings.

We offer a wide range of medical, integrative healing, psychosocial and advocacy services on an appointment basis or walk-in basis. Many of our patients are monolingual Spanish speakers. As part of our comprehensive approach to primary care, we also have a strong focus on nutritional/lifestyle changes, harm reduction (needle exchange in-house), opiate addiction recovery with medication assisted treatment and integrative/bodywork modalities, women's health services, and queer/transgender care including gender affirming hormone therapy.

Casa de Salud is not a federally qualified health center, instead we are a nonprofit integrative community-based clinic. 75-80% of our patients are self-pay and we provide transparent, affordable healthcare and low-cost labs and procedures. We also accept Medicaid, greatly reducing the hassles of insurance-based healthcare while serving those most in need. Our patients are appreciative and enjoyable to work with; many have been with us since we started in 2004.
