The data entry contractor will help facilitate the set up of a new Innovation tool. Currently, innovation data exists in various formats in disparate locations. The contractor will be responsible for categorizing and translating all of available data from a central repository into the pre-defined fields within the tool, to allow for a consistent, comprehensive database to be createdData Entry Clerk job duties:Data Entry Compile and sort information according to pre-defined fields, to prepare source data for entry Input text based and numerical information from source documents into the databaseDatabase Management Review data for errors, correct any inconsistencies and check output for completeness, to ensure all fields are populated for each item Obtain further information for incomplete documents, through discussion with data owners, to ensure complete entriesQualifications: Minimum high school education Some college education with knowledge of marketing and scientific terms Proven data entry work experience Typing speed and attention to detail Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately Ability to work independently without supervision Working knowledge all various software Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Adobe AcrobatPreferences: Understanding of consumer products marketing and market research terminology Understanding of new product development Understanding of consumer healthcare/OTC marketingBelcan is a global supplier of engineering, technical recruiting, and IT services to customers in the aerospace, industrial, and government sectors.
