Tropic Ind. is seeking an Entry Level Solid Surface Fabricator. This persons primary responsibility is fabricating solid surface countertops and pieces, with no other requirements other than to learn the safe use of manufacturing equipment, power-hand tools and manual tools, and learn to understand shop drawings. Training will be provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fabricate all types of solid surface products countertops and other pieces.
Communication skills and work well with others
Adaptable to change
Follow directions and ask questions when needed
Report safety issues immediately
Report directly to Solid Surface Shop Manager
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, & SKILLS REQUIRED:
The ability to grasp and carry countertops and/or supplies up to 100 pounds.
Ability to read a tape measure
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Communication and organizational skills and be task driven
A strong work ethic, be honest, punctual and a positive team player
Language: English; Bilingual a plus
Work authorization: United states (Required)
COMPENSATION
Salary range: $12 - 15 per hour based on experience
After 90 days Health insurance is available (paid by employee)
