Hello, I run a successful/expanding food truck business in SJ. We sell our products at festivals and at the private catering sector of the business. I am looking for an able bodied person, who may be looking for some work during the week but will give me a weekend commitment. 70% of the work is done on the weekends (again during the week jobs seem to be popping up more and more as the business grows for sure). During the week commitment is not mandatory, but I can provide some work during the week no doubt. Our season really kicks into high gear in April-November
PS I have been told by all/many who have worked for me over the years that I am a great guy to work forI put my employees first.
Here is what I am looking for
1. The person must not looking for a full time job.
2. They are content picking up as much work as I can give them.
3. I am hopeful the person has had experience working on a grill (not just a backyard barbecue type possible restaurant grill experience).
4. I am hoping they may be comfortable taking on some type of managerial role
5. I am hopeful they have some mechanical knowledge.
6. The person must be an adult responsible, and also an "early riser", so drinkers/partiers this isn't the job for you.
7. Ideally, the person already has income or doesn't need to work every day. The vending position is for work that is weather depending, (on occasion) so it sometimes can be inconsistent.
8. From my past hires I have learned that if you are in fact looking for an actual job/career, this probably isn't for you, and you probably aren't the right fit for me ( I cannot provide work every single day, although I may be looking to do this in the future, this would be part of the position ).
9. There is also some lifting involved, so if that is an issue please do not respond.
10. I need a RELIABLE person ,and they must have a valid NJ Drivers License and a working cell phone.
11. Our storage unit is located in Berlin, so ideally, the person lives locally/close by
12. Please tell me a little about yourself in your reply( experience, etc.) Pay is $14.00 per hour (to startroom for advancement once we commit to each other and your role becomes a little more defined) out in the field (at events) plus tips.
13. I am looking for someone who WANTS TO WORK, AND IS COMPETENT Please don't waste my time if you are not. Note THERE IS A BIT OF LIFTING INVOLVED
