is currently recruiting for a Senior Director, Global eCommerce to be located in Skillman NJ; Zug, Switzerland or Shanghai, China. eCommerce
is a critical growth driver for Consumer Health with projected impact of over
$2 billion revenue by 2021. This role
will be integral to lead the development of an eCommerce ecosystem to
seamlessly deliver brands and services with
an approach that creates unparalleled experiences for consumers. The
Senior Director of Global eCommerce will be responsible for ensuring a clear
value chain for eCommerce across multiple functions and geographies. He/She will also be responsible for continually
introducing cutting-edge pilot programs—and leading the eCommerce Community of
Practice across the globe—to share best practices, build capabilities, and
continually innovate as we drive our eCommerce capability to a competitive advantage
for Consumer Health Globally.The
candidate for this role must have the relevant expertise and experience to
leverage emerging trends, technology and resources to enable markets to diagnose,
shape and execute relevant strategies and digital experiments that result in
unparalleled brand and customer experiences.The Senior Director of eCommerce
reports to the WW VP Global Commercial Strategy & Capabilities and manages
a team of 2-3 direct reports.Specific Responsibilities:
Change management in the digital
transformation
Develops global eCommerce goals,
objectives and strategies as part of annual business executive planning -and
support G9 leaders in achieving operating plan objectives.
Leads socialization of new
eCommerce ideas, programs and offerings focused on converting shoppers to
buyers in the digital space.
Lead the creation of a global
community of practice focused on building eCommerce capability and outcomes
across Consumer Health.
Provides leadership and guidance
in the development of concepts, strategies, planning, implementation, and
coordination for eCommerce activities and interplay with offline/omnichannel
Executes full lifecycle project
management on eCommerce projects, including analysis and documentation of
business requirements, functional and technical specifications, scoping,
scheduling, functional team handoffs and strategic planning.
Establishes processes and
practices for the development of content and tactics focused on driving brand
initiatives on retailer websites.
In close collaboration with
marketing, sales strategy, consumer promotions, and content development teams,
drives and co-leads go-to-market planning to drive the business.
Partners with analytics and
optimization teams to synthesize complex web data, product performance and voice
of customer data to form actionable insights to accelerate growth.
Negotiates with key Global
Customers like Amazon, Jet.com, Box.com, Alibaba, Lazada, etc.
Defines mid and long-term road
map for taxonomy, features and functionality to improve the user experience.
Contributes to online content by
testing and implementing improved web usability, page flow, navigation, and
content to support the overall objective of increasing visitors’ conversion
rates.
Provides digital thought
leadership and consultation to cross-functional sales teams in order to build
customer collaboration.
Provides POVs on existing and
emerging digital trends, benchmarks and tactics to help sales teams evaluate
digital marketing opportunities available.
Conducts frequent internal & external
evaluations of retailer sites to ensure the optimal customer experience,
including regular competitive analysis of direct competitors and relevant
non-competitors.
Identifies the talent necessary
to achieve the corporate goals and is actively involved in the recruitment,
development, performance management and succession planning.
Leverages data and insights from
customer analytics team to make data-driven changes and improvements in overall
programs and monitor the success over time.
Selects vendors, negotiates
contracts and manages vendor relationships where appropriate.
QualificationsQualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is
required. An advanced degree is preferred.
A
minimum of 10 years of professional experience is required.
Previous
global experience is required. Commercial Experience in Brand Marketing or
Sales is preferred. Multiple functional
experience preferred
Proven
track record as an innovative leader with a
deep understanding of the eCommerce and digital landscape.
The ability to develop solutions that
create a unique and compelling and integrate experience for the customer across
channels and touch points.
Track record of developing winning,
customer-centric digital strategies and channels (e.g., web, mobile, social).
S/he is not afraid of taking risks and
will bring a proven track record of driving significant organizational change
from a company of scale.
S/he forges strong interpersonal
alliances and motivates others at all levels both within and outside the organization
as well as superb influencing and facilitation skills
Past performance of achieving business
results over time including sustained business growth and turn around.
Action oriented and has a demonstrated
ability to operate in fast/changing marketplace externally and a highly complex
environment internally, across functions and geographies.
Broad business, financial & digital
acumen.
Deep understanding of the consumer
landscape and the learning agility to quickly grasp the key business drivers of
the industry and complex customer base in different markets.

different business environments that include a demonstrated ability to lead
change and build new business models.

This role will be located in either New
Brunswick, NJ USA, Zug, Switzerland or Shanghai,
China and may require up to 50% domestic and international travel.
