Processing incoming orders from suppliers so that material is received, data entry performed, and material is put away or redistributed in a timely and accurate manner.

Identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock and recording location of inventory.

Locating materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials for customer orders and transfers.

Handling shipping/receiving activity including but not limited to UPS, auto freight, will call, store to store transfers and LTL shipments.

Maintaining the accurate locations for all inventory items.

Shipping out customer orders are on time, to the correct location with the right parts.

Ensuring proper handling, shipping, receiving and storage of product to avoid damage.

Researching shipping and receiving discrepancies and damages on customer order and product deliveries. Processes and follows up with required documentation.

Completing cycle counts in an efficient and accurate manner.

Guaranteeing that returned materials are thoroughly checked for acceptability and that data entry is completed accurately.

Upholding a clean, neat, organized, and safe working environment including upkeep of machinery. Certifying compliance with OSHA and any local regulations for safe material handling and storage.

Performing any other duty or tasks as may be assigned by the Warehouse Manager/ Management Team.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or GED

Valid New Jersey driver’s license

Organization skills and ability to monitor and prioritize numerous projects at once.

Interpersonal communication skills

Good general knowledge of MS Excel, Word, file and document management in a Windows environment.

Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience in working with limited supervision and able to make independent decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years’ experience in a warehouse and/or distribution facility of HVAC or related field.

Forklift, picker, RF scanner and inventory experience

Previous experience with OSHA and safety regulations and procedures.
