DescriptionA well respected pharmaceutical organization, located in Bergen County, New Jersey is looking to full-time an up and coming Junior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a long-term temporary to full-time opportunity that offers you a great work space/office environment and room for advancement.Responsibilities:
Support accounts payable: check preparation, vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
General accounting and administration support
Help with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing,other ad hoc projects
Requirements
Intermediate Excel skills: pivot tables & v-lookups
BA/BS in Accounting or related field
1-2 years of experience in accounting role
Knowledge of SAP software preferred
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
