Join us.Role and ResponsibilitiesSamsung is seeking a Senior Director of Display End User Sales and in this role you will be responsible for the development and execution of display sales strategy aligned to targeted enterprise vertical markets and customers. You will lead a large and skilled group of enterprise field sales representatives and team leaders providing c-suite engagement and relationship development, customer account management and end client support across a broad commercial display product portfolio in the U.S. market.In this role you will represent Samsung at the executive level to industry representatives and end customer executive management as well as direct the development and ongoing business operations for the end user sales team. You will create and lead the execution of key business strategies and direct the end user sales team on a determined path to increase market share within the United States across industries and verticals to ensure profitable results for the company. This role requires a high degree of responsibility for human and financial resources will be required to provide recommendations to optimize returns on resource investments. This candidate will provide leadership to maximize individual employee and team performance, position the team for growth, and significantly scale the business. Key responsibilities include:

Providing overall direction of Samsung’s end user sales strategies and is responsible for sales and profitability growth of Samsung IT B2B Display business.

Develop strategies for key verticals including Quick Serve Restaurant, Retail, Finance, Transportation, OOH, Cinema, etc.

Developing, directing, and negotiating end customer sales agreements at the corporate level on behalf of Samsung.

As part of IT B2B division’s executive leadership team, working collaboratively with fellow divisions leaders of Channel Sales, Product Marketing, Business Development and Headquarters (Korea) teams to drive results.

Ability to lead an existing team as well as develop and implement strategies for vertical market expansion, organizational team build up and new market creation to drive aggressive business growth targets.

Conducting corporate client business meetings with customer leadership to pursue new profitable business opportunities and develop new addressable markets.

Providing ongoing communications and negotiations with existing customers to ensure satisfactory performance while identifying customer needs, resolving issues, and developing new business opportunities.

Representing Samsung as a senior sales leader at industry venues and events.

Identifying and developing new business opportunities and business relationships directly with enterprise companies resulting in achievement of increased revenue and profitability.

Identifying and directing the most effective application of Samsung end user sales activities in cooperation with available resources.

Developing and retaining a high quality workforce.

Directing the preparation of reports and management analysis, making presentations to market, establishing business plans, and reporting on the performance of the assigned business division against plan.

RequirementsThe successful candidate will have the following experience:

Proven track record of success selling complex hardware and services solutions

The ability to see and clearly communicate the revenue game plan across all functions

An innate ability to commit to short-term results while forecasting future revenue, and able to be held accountable for both short-term success and longer-term strategy

15+ years of sales and leadership experience; extensive B2B experience, specifically in commercial display, smart signage, or LED products preferred

Success record at leading cross functional customer business teams

A strong technical foundation is considered a plus

Undergraduate business degree is preferred; relevant (MBA) post-graduate degree is desired
