You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers developing state-of-the-art, next generation military and industrial imaging systems. Thinking outside the box, generating new ideas, and being an effective team player is essential for success in this role. The individual will learn the daily operations of a world class wafer processing plant.Primary Responsibilities:Utilize Lean Manufacturing techniques to reduce manufacturing costs and improve manufacturing yieldAssist Engineers in maintaining semiconductor assembly equipment and current manufacturing processesAssist Engineers in developing new advanced wafer processing methodsUpdating standard operating documentationWork with the operations team to solve daily manufacturing issuesDesign manufacturing fixturesConduct time studies of manufacturing processesBasic Qualifications:Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holderPreferred Qualifications:Enrolled in a full time Engineering majorBe familiar with MS Office programsBe able to work in a cleanroom environmentBe able to effectively work in a team settingHave the ability to work on manufacturing equipmentCollins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
