Role Summary:As a Manufacturing Engineer you will lead the design and development of manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment that meet all customer and company requirements. Drive continuous improvement across the product lines by owning project timelines, improving product quality and resolving technical/process issues. Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget.Essential Responsibilities:
Define and control production process, including tooling and equipment
Act as liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing Operations
Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment (includes Manufacturing Engineers)
Manage Tool and Process Development, working with Process Engineers and Manufacturing and Quality Departments, NPI Process Development and Documentation
Execute routine analyses using vested methods and technologies
Contribute to technological developments in teams under supervision
Work together with people from the business unit (contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information)
Develop, verify and validate production capable CNC programs using CAM software (such as NX, Solidworks, Creo and MasterCam) for 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers
Work within a team setting and/or under guidance
Execute routine but complex analysis
Support NPI through providing technical support around processes, quality and programs.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment.
