Job Description
National Retail Systems, Inc. is looking to hire full-time security guards in North Bergen, NJ. Individuals with security backgrounds are encouraged to apply. This position is responsible for the protection of the premises, assets, visitors and customers while maintaining a high visibility presence. Security guard will prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions through detection, deterrence, observance and reporting.
Responsibilities will include routine yard checks, safety inspections, crime prevention, and traffic and parking control, as well as accurately log vehicle movement entering and exiting the facility.
Multiple shifts are available (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). Training will be provided. Applicants can apply in person from 9 AM until Noon from Monday through Friday.
Requirements
Must possess good interpersonal, organizational, communications, and computer skills.
This position will work indoors and outdoors.
This position will occasionally require the candidate to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, push and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
This position requires manual dexterity: auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
The desired candidate must have the ability to read, write and speak English.
Valid New Jersey Drivers License a plus
Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) License is desired, but not required
