We are now interviewing LINE COOKS for our new project, Franklin Social, in Jersey City. Franklin Social is a nod to the rich history of Colonial America during Benjamin Franklin’s early years with a modern take on the American Tavern.
Responsibilities
Accurately handling food items to minimize waste
Knowledgeable of equipment safety practices
Accountable for food safety guidelines per Dept of Health
Ability to learn, understand, and to execute recipes
Preparing mise en place for daily service
Expected to show up in a timely fashion, in a clean uniform, in a clear minded state of being
Requirements
Minimum of 1+ year line cook experience
Saturday and Sunday Night availability is required
Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and knife handling
ServSafe certification is a plus!
