Kforce's client is looking to bring on a Human Resources Specialist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate for this role will have 2-5 years of experience and have experience with Workday. The Human Resources Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department and staff including recruitment, employment and HRIS.Responsibilities:
Assist in the overall recruitment process for corporate offices such as, posting ads, reviewing resumes, setting up interview and scheduling
Assist with applicant flow and applicant tracking process and follow-up
Reporting in HRIS, analytics, headcount, etc.
Primary contact for all new employees, including on boarding and new hire orientations
Answer general policy and procedure questions regarding employment, benefits and payroll
Update policies/employee handbook
Assist with the administration of the learning management system, (i.e. roll out training programs to employees)
Handle employee changes in the HRIS, (i.e., promotions, terminations etc.)
Provide administrative support to HR which may include preparing correspondence, spreadsheets, preparation of presentations and termination packages
Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations
Administration of Tuition Reimbursement program
Support HR staff in other areas as needed such as coordination of meetings and functions
Maintains department records, to include personnel file maintenance
Maintain the I-9 records to ensure all documents are accurate, filed and in compliance
Maintains posted information on the company bulletin boards, coordinate employee programs and events
Assist in implementation of HRIS and responsible for maintenance/updating of organization charts
Bachelor's degree
2-5 years of HR experience in a high growth environment, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Recruiting experience preferred
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels of the organization and work in a fast pace and changing environment
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and follow up skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
The ability to ensure integrity and working with confidential information
Must have experience with an HRIS/payroll system, Workday preferred
