Description: This is a Project Specialist Staff position which reports into the Moorestown site CM manager in the RMS Enterprise Engineering and Leadership Excellence (EE&LE) Center of Excellence (COE). This mission critical position is located at the Lockheed Martin Moorestown, NJ site. As the Configuration Management lead you will be called upon to independently solve complex problems and manage the configuration of product and documentation baselines throughout its lifecycle. This position requires daily collaboration with the entire program team to remove obstacles, resolve issues quickly, maintain consistency, and drive productivity while ensuring control and integrity of the baselines. You will demonstrate ownership of various system configuration processes and will participate in all phases of the development cycle including design, production, and testing. This CM/DM lead position is responsible for CM oversight and contributing where necessary of the configuration management activities. Contributes to and ensures Configuration Change Board, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Audits, Data Management (DM), DD-250, and CM HW related activities are accomplished within budget and on schedule. Analyzes proposed engineering changes of functional, allocated, and product baselines to determine potential impacts and effects on product and system. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented, and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies. Validate and verify configuration status accounting process to ensure key data is captured. Participate in the proposal process; interpret statement of work and proposal documents to identify CM requirements. Prepare/update Configuration Management Plans and other program directives defining program CM and DM processes. Serve as spokesperson for the organization to applicable levels of internal and external customers.Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for consideration.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a technical or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Masters degree preferred. Proven ability to lead a team comprised of both technical and non-technical personnel Proven communication skills in all media formats. HW and SW Configuration Management experience with military products and services Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and full spectrum leadership attributes Understanding of Data Management process and relationship to CDRLs, SDRLs and Data Rights Budget and schedule management experience Interprets engineering changes and understandsChange Control Board process Knowledge of Fact-Finding process and how to dialog with USG for successful outcomes Experience strategizing methodology for production and sustainment contracts Solid knowledge of CM/DM processes Ability to work with cross functional teams Cost Account Management (CAM) experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
