Payroll Manager

DescriptionA global company in Montvale, NJ is currently seeking a Director of Payroll to join their group on an interim basis as they conduct an upgrade of their ADP payroll system and strategize succession plans for their payroll department. The Director of Payroll will report to the VP of HR, and will manage four staff members, while having oversight of managing biweekly payroll processing, ensuring that deductions are prepared accurately, handling tax related responsibilities, recording payroll information to the general ledger, and collaborating with employees and managers across the organization. Other responsibilities will include auditing payroll transactions, managing discrepancies and escalations, preparing onboarding materials, uploading reports, monitoring benefit plan deductions, auditing accruals, and payroll reconciliations.
