Seeking both ON PREMISE and OFF PREMISE Banquet Servers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma
Minimum 2 years prior experience
Friendly, energetic and customer oriented
Professional appearance and attire a must
Must be able to carry 8-10 plated dinners
Ability to work weekends and be flexible with schedule
NJ Drivers License.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Setting up Ballrooms - Involves moving tables and chairs and dressing tables with linens, dishes, silverware, glasses, plates, cups, napkins, condiments and centerpieces. Filling water glasses before guests arrive. Setting up buffet stations, and/or arranging decorations, favors, and place cards, and assemble stages.
During events - Banquet servers carry large, heavy trays from and to the kitchen and serve plated meals to our guests. S/he works quickly and carefully so that meals remain hot; Must be sure to take the correct orders and deliver the right meal to the right person. Refilling water and soda and clearing each course are also required.
End of Day - When an event ends, the banquet server may also be expected to stay and help with clean up and resetting for the next days events.
